Breakage
During Firing
Very rarely pieces do get broken or damaged
in the firing process. During the firing process,
the clay and the glazes undergo a chemical reaction with the extremely
high temperatures of the kiln. During this heating and cooling
process problems occasionally occur. Sometimes the problem is
due to a incompatibilities in different paint combinations, othertimes
there is an air bubble in the paint or in the ceramic piece itself
that causes a problem. For these an other reasons, a piece may
break, chip, or be otherwise damaged in firing or during the cooling
process.
If this happens, we will gladly
replace the bisque if it is in stock or refund the purchase price
of the Bisque.
